The Basilica of the Sacred Heart is situated on top of the Montmatre hill - the highest point in Paris.The construction of this Romano-Byzantine style church began in 1875.Panoramic views of Paris from the top of this church is really breathtaking. One can visit the church either by taking steep steps or by funicular railway.
