Pumpkin halwa
Ingredients
1 cup roasted gram flour
500 g pumpkin
1/2 l milk
150 g sugar
100 g butter
cardomom powder
Almonds/cashews
Method
Wash & peel pumpkin.
Blend pumpkin in food processor.Don't make a paste.
Boil milk in a sauce pan. Add chopped pumpkin.
Stir occasionely.
When cooked add butter & sugar.
Dilute roasted gram flour in a cup of milk & add to the mixture.
Stir gently in low fire.
When the mixture thickens add cardomom powder & chopped nuts.
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
Pat it into a greased dish & cool.
Cut into small squares & serve.
