Arroz doce - Portuguese Rice Pudding

Arroz DoceIngredients1 cup cooked thai rice2 cups full cream milk2 clovesA cinnamon stickA pinch of salt2 tbsp sugar2 egg yolks1 tsp vanilla essenceZest of a lemonCinnamon powderMethodBeat egg yolks & sugar until light & fluffy.Gently heat milk with cooked rice,cloves & cinnamon.Add a pinch of salt, lemon zest & stir well.When it is reduced to half, remove from fire.Then add  beaten egg yolks stiring constantly.Add vanilla essence & stir well. Pound Cake

Pound Cake Ingredients200g butter200g sugar (I took 180g)200g flour 4 eggs2 tsp baking powder2 tsp vanilla essenceZest of an orangeA pinch of saltMethodPreheat the oven to 180°C.Cream together the butter, sugar & salt .Add beaten eggs.Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.Then add baking powder, vanilla essence & zest of an orangeMix well & pour the batter into the greased cake pan.
