Chakka kuru- Muringa ila Curry


1 cup freshly grated coconut
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
10 Jack fruit seeds
1 cup drumstick leaves (moringa)
2 shallots(chopped)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
Curry leaves
For tempering
1 tbsp coconut oil / any other oil
1/2 tsp musturd seed
1 dried chilli
Curry leaves

Remove the outer white skin of the jackfruit seeds & soak them for an hour in water.
Using a knife scrape the brown inner skin & cut it coins.
Separate the moringa leaves from their stalk, wash & keep aside.

Grind first three ingredients to a fine paste. 
Cook jackfruit seeds+ shallots , in water along with salt , chilli & turmeric powder.
When cooked, add the moringa leaves.
Cover & cook for just 2mn.
Then add grinded mixture along with water.
Cook for a few minuites, garnish with curry leaves & remove from fire.
For tempering, heat oil in a pan & splutter musturd seeds.
Then add dried chilli & curry leaves.
Then add this to the prepared curry.
Serve with white rice.
