Royal Palace of Versailles  A vast, extravagant castle with spectacular architecture. This is the royal residence of Louis XIV- the Sun King. The construction of the Palace began in 1664. Chocolate Marmalade Cake

Green Almond Cake

Green Almond CakeIngredients200g flour 100g sugar100g butter4 eggs2 tsp baking powder100g green almond paste1 tsp vanilla essenceA pinch of salt5 drops of green food colour MethodPreheat the oven to 180°C.Cream together the butter,almond paste, sugar & salt .Then add beaten eggs & mix well.Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.Add  vanilla essence, mix well & pour half of the batter into the greased cake pan. Kochi Marine Drive

The Greater Coucal / Crow Pheasant

 Crow Pheasant  The Greater Coucal / Crow Pheasant (Centropus sinensis) are commonly found in Indian subcontinent. Ernakulam Main Boat Jetty .

Hop on to the ferries to explore the Islands of  Ernakulam. There are two Govt. owned ferry stations - Ernakulam Main Boat Jetty (nr the Railway Station ) & other near the High Court. Ferry service is from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Ferries from the Ekm Main Jetty takes you to  Mattancherry & Fort Kochi where as the ferries from the High Court Jetty takes you to Vypeen & Bolghatty Islands.
