Aval Ladoo
Ingredients
2 cups rice flakes(beaten rice /poha)
1 cup grated coconut / dessicated coconut
3/4 cup sugar
A pinch of salt
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
4 tbsp ghee
Raisins & Cashews
Method
Heat (2tbsp)ghee in a pan & fry rice flakes till crunchy.
Keep aside to cool & then blend into fine powder.
Fry raisins & cashews in remaining ghee.
When brown , add grated coconut & sugar.
When the sugar is well mixed , remove from fire & add cardomom powder.
Add the rice flakes powder to the coconut mixture.
Mix well with a wooden spatule & the shape into ladoos.
