Malai Ladoo for Diwali

 Malai LadooIngredients500 g Ricotta cheese400g sweetened condensed milk (1can) A pinch of saffron5 cardomom pods3 tbsp sugarChopped Pistachios MethodBlend cardomom with sugar & keep aside.Take ricotta cheese in a heavy bottomed vessel. Add condensed milk & mix with a wooden spatule.Stir continuously over medium heat.Add cardomom & saffron & mix well. When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire . Set aside to cool & then shape into ladoos. Happy Diwali

Apple Cake with Almond Flakes

Apple Cake Ingredients2 apples (peel,core & cut into thin slices)Juice of half lemon100g butter150g sugar150g flour 3 tbsp milk2 tbsp corn flour2 eggs2 tsp baking powderA pinch of salt1 cup almond flakesfor topping25g sugar1 tsp cinnamon powderMethodPreheat the oven to 180°C.Mix the apple slices in lemon juice & keep aside.Cream together the butter, sugar & salt .Add beaten eggs.Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.Pour half of the batter into the greased cake tin....
