Brocoli PuttuIngredients 5 brocoli florets2 cups roasted rice flour1 cup grated coconut 1/2 tsp  salt200 ml hot waterCoconut for layering MethodBlend brocoli florets & keep aside.Dilute salt in water.Take rice powder in a bowl.Pour some water & mix with fingers so that it look like bread crumbs.Add grated coconut &  chopped brocoli.Mix well & keep aside.Boil some water in the bottom vessel of the Puttu maker. Daikon Radish ParathaIngredientsHalf of a daikon radish( white radish)2 tbsp scraped fresh coconut / dessicated coconut2 green chillies2 shallots curry leaves1 tsp fennel seeds250 g flour250g whole wheat flour1 tbsp oil1 tsp saltOil for fryingMethodBlend first six ingredients in a mixer & add to the flour.Mix all the other ingredients & keep aside for 2/3 hours.Daikon radish contains water - so no need to add water.Make evenly sized balls. Danish Sand Cake

Danish Sand CakeIngredients4eggs150g flour100g corn flour / potato flour200g butter200g sugar1 tsp baking powder2 tbsp milk1 tsp vanilla essenceMethodPreheat the oven to 180°C.Cream together the butter, sugar & salt .Add beaten egg along with milk.Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.Add milk, vanilla essence & mix well. Pour the batter into the greased cake pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean, about 30-35 mn. Serve with tea.
