Chicken Bhuna

 Chicken Bhuna

Ingredients
4 skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmir chilli powder
2 tsp tomato puree
* Spices*
3 cloves + A pices of cinnamon+ 2 petals anise+ cardomom

3 cardomom pods
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp fennel powder
A pinch of cumin powder

2 onions (chopped)
2 garlic cloves + A piece of ginger
2 green chillies (half slit)
1 tbsp oil  + 10g butter
Juice of half lemon.
Coriander leaves 
Method
Marinate chicken with salt chilli & turmeric.
Keep in the refrigerator for an hour.

Powder the cardomom grains & keep aside.

Warm the oil+ butter in a skillet & fry spices.
Then add chopped onions & fry till light golden brown.
Add  ginger+garlic paste +  green chillies&  fry for a while.
Add all the powders & fry again.(coriander+cardomom+fennel +cumin)
Then add the marinated chicken pieces & fry for a  while.
Mix well & add two cups of water.
Cover & cook, stirring from time to time. (15mn)
When the sauce is dried, add lemon juiice & mix well.
Garnish with coriander leaves & serve with rice.
