Scottish Toffee

Scottish ToffeeIngredients 200g sweetened condensed milk200g sugar170 ml milk60g butter1/2 tsp  cardomom powderMethod Gently heat butter, sugar & milk in  heavy bottomed pan. When sugar is dissolved , add condensed milk. Stir with a wooden spatule on medium heat.When the colour changes , add cardomom powder. When it leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire. (10mn) Pat it onto a greased dish & cut into squares.Store in an airtight container.

Khubz - Arab Flat Bread

Khubz Ingredients200g flour 200g whole wheat flour  15g fresh yeast or (2 tsp dried yeast) Half cup luke warm milkHalf Cup luke warm water   1 tsp sugarMethodDilute yeast in luke warm water with 1 tsp sugar.
