2 tsp soya sauce
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp chilli sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp cornflour
Half cup water
500g tiger prawns ( fresh/frozen)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
An onion (chopped)
2 garlic cloves (chopped)
A piece of ginger (chopped)
A green chilli (half slit)
A scallion (chopped)
Curry leaves / Coriander leaves
Oil for frying
Mix first four ingredients & keep aside.
Dilute Shell, devein and wash prawns using salt and turmeric.
Marinate in salt & keep in the refrigerator for an hour.
Heat oil in a sauce pan.
Fry ginger & garlic till light golden brown.
Then add onions + carrots & fry again.
Add ketchup sauce & cook for a few minuites.
Fry for a while & then add marinated prawns along with chopped scallions.
Stir in corn flour mixture & mix well.
When the prawns are cooked, remove from fire.
Add a beaten egg yolk & stir .
Garnish with pepper & coriander leaves.
Serve with rice or any other Indian bread.
