Candied cherry Tomatoes
Candied cherry Tomatoes
Ingredients
Ingredients
15 cherry tomatoes
100g sugar
2 tbsp water
3 drops of lemon juice
Sesame seeds
Toothpicks
Method
Wash , dry & keep the tomatoes in the fridge for an hour.
Insert toothpicks into each cherry tomatoes.
Arrange sesame seeds on a flat dish.
Heat sugar + water + lemon juice on a medium heat .
When it caramalises , keep the casserole in water( just to stop heat)
Holding the tomatoes by the stick, dip in syrup & turn to coat evenly.
Then roll it in sesame seeds & place on a greased plate.
Repeat the same with the remaining cherry tomatoes.
Serve these candied tomatoes as a starter.
