Apple Strudel
Ingredients
1 frozen puff pastry
3 medium sized apples
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp raisins
1tbsp almond flakes
1 tbsp chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
50 g butter
50g almond powder
An egg yolk
Method
Pre-heat oven 180°C.
Wash peel, and slice apples using mandoline.
Mix the apple slices with all the other ingredients.
Roll out the puff pastry & spread the apple mix in the middle.
Fold from four sides to get a rectangular shaped pie.
Then beat an egg yolk with 1 tbsp water & brush it on the the top.
Cover with a greaseproof paper & turn .
Make some slits with a sharp knife on the top.
Brush with the egg yolk & bake for 30 mn.
