Sandesh - Bengali Sweet for Diwali

Ingredients
250 g Ricotta cheese
1 can sweetened condensed milk 
5 jaggery cubes
1/4 cup water
5 cardomom pods
1 tbsp sugar
Method
Using a coffee grinder blend cardomom seeds & sugar. 
Gently heat jaggery & water to make a thick syrup.
Strain it & keep aside.
Take ricotta cheese in a heavy bottomed vessel.
Add  condensed milk & mix with a wooden spatule.
Then add strained jaggery syrup.
Stir continuously over medium heat.
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
Add cardomom powder & mix well

Grease you palm, make balls & make patterns using a fork.
If u've a mould  press them in a mould.

Bengalis use palm sugar & a mould to shape them.
