Spicy Shepherd's Pie

3 big potatoes (cooked & mashed)
An egg
2 tbsp thick cream
Few curry leaves (chopped)
A green chilli (chopped)
2 garlic cloves(chopped)
1tsp cumin seeds
Salt to taste
400g g minced meat
2 onions(chopped)
1 tbsp tomato puree
2 cloves of garlic + a piece of ginger (make a paste)
2 green chillies
1 tbsp masala powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Curry leaves / coriander leaves
Salt to taste

70 grated cheese (Emmentel)
2 tbsp bread crumbs
1 tsp herbes de Provence
Boil the quartered potatoes in salted water until tender (20 mn).
Drain & let it cool.
Peel, mash & mix it with cumin seeds chopped chilli &curry leaves.
Keep aside.
Heat oil in a sauce pan.
Fry onions till light golden brown.
Add ginger- garlic paste & fry again.
Then add masala, salt & minced meat+ tomato puree.
Add some water & cook for 10 min.
When the sauce is dried , remove from fire. 
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Grease the cake tin with butter
Evenly spread the prepared meat at the bottom.
On the top evenly spread the potato mixture.  
Bake for 15mn.
Remove from the oven.
Sprinkle cheese & crumb mix on the top.
Return to the oven for 5 min until browned.
