2 cups gramflour
11/2 tbsp ghee + 2tbsp milk
3/4 cup ghee
2 tbsp milk + yellow food colour
A pinch of nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
* For Syrup*
11/2 cup sugar
Half cup water
Warm ghee & milk in the microwave oven.
Take gramflour in a bowl .
Pour the melted ghee & mix with fingers so that it look like bread crumbs.
Prepare sugar syrup with thread consistency.
Keep aside to cool.
Dilute food colour in milk & add to the syrup.
Melt ghee in a thick bottomed vessel.
Add prepared gramflour crumbs & mix well with a wooden spatule.
Stir continuously over medium heat until the gramflour is light brown.
Then add prepared syrup little by little & stir.
When it leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire.
Pat it onto a greased dish & cut into desired shapes.
Decorate with chopped almonds & pistachios.
