Cabbage Rotti

Cabbage Rotti

Ingredients
1 tsp fennel seeds
A green chilli 
A piece of ginger
1 cup chopped cabbage
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 tbsp dessicated coconut / 3 tbsp freshly grated coconut
5 shallots
Curry leaves (chopped)

2 cups gram flour
2 cups wheat flour
2 eggs (beaten)
Salt to taste
Luke warm water

Method

Blend the first 8 ingredients & keep aside.
Mix gram flour &  wheat flour together .
Mix blended mixture with beaten eggs & salt.
Then add flour & mix well.
Mix with sufficient amount of water to get a stiff dough.
Keep aside for an hour.
Heat a greased non stick pan / tava.
Take a lemon sized dough ball on ur left palm.
Dip ur right hand in water & flatten the dough into disc of abt 8 c.m.
It's quite easy if we flatten the dough on a banana leaf & then transfer it on a pan.
Smear some oil & cook the otherside.
Repeat the process with other dough balls.
Serve these Spicy Rotti's with Veg / Non Veg curry.
