Mini Tuna Quiche
2 Frozen puff pastries
200g minced tuna (canned)
1 green chilli (chopped)
A piece of ginger(chopped)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1tsp fennel seeds
Chopped Curry Leaves
2 eggs (beaten)
200g thick cream
Salt & Freshly ground pepper
Grated cheese (optional)
Fry onions till light golden brown.
Add chopped ginger, chilli & chopped curry leaves.
Fry for a while & then add minced tuna along with turmeric powder.
Fry for a while & then keep aside to cool.
Roll out the puff pastry & cut it into 11 cm discs.
Lightly flour the 12 hole muffin tin.
Press the discs in each hole & prick the base with a fork.
Spoon the prepared tuna at the base of the puff pastry.
Pre heat oven to 180°C.
Beat together egg & cream.
Add sufficient amount of salt & pepper.
Pour this on the top of tuna & bake for 20 mn.
Take out from the oven & scatter grated cheese over it.
Return to the oven & bake for another 2mn.
Serve hot with tea / as a starter.
