Banana Almond Cake

3 ripe bananas(mashed)
50g almond powder
220g flour
100g sugar
100g butter
2 eggs(beaten)
  2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
 Chopped almonds(optional)
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Cream together the butter, sugar & salt.
Add beaten eggs, mashed banana & almond powder.
Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.
Then add vanilla essence  & chopped almonds.
Mix well & pour the batter into the greased cake pan.
Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.(40mn)
Serve with tea.
