Bola de Carne - Portuguese / Brazilian Meat Cake

Ingredients
250g minced meat / 2 steaks
2 onions
2 green chillies
1 cup canned corn (discard the the decant water)
A carrot (chopped)
A piece of ginger (chopped )
Few Curry leaves (chopped)

2 eggs
125 g flour + 1 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
75 g grated cheese (emmental/ parmesan)
Half cup vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Method
Heat oil in a apn & fry onions to light golden brown.
Then add chopped carrot, chilli, ginger& salt .
Fry for a while & then add minced meat .
Add some water & cook for a few minuites.
When cooked add corn & chopped curry leaves.
Keep aside to cool.

In a bowl beat eggs.
Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the egg  mixture.
Add milk & vegetable oil .
Mix well & then add prepared minced meat.
Then add grated cheese & mix well.
Pour the batter into the greased cake pan (square).
Preheat oven to 180°C & bake for 20- 25mn.
Cool, cut in squares & serve as a starter.
