Fried Layer Paratha
300 g flour
1 tbsp melted butter
Salt to taste
Half cup water
Oil for frying
Flour for dusting
Mix all the ingredients.
Mix with water to get a stiff dough.
Cover the bowl with a damp cloth & keep aside for 10mn.
Make lemon sized balls & flatten it using a roller.
Smear some oil/ghee on the top & dust with flour.
Fold as in the pic & once again smear oil & dust flour.
Then fold as a cone & press the pointed part inwards.
Repeat the same with other dough balls.
Cover & keep aside for another 10 mn.
Flatten them with a roller & deep fry .
Heat plenty of oil.
Gently slip the disc in hot oil.
Splash hot oil on the top.
Turn over & fry the other side.
Remove using a slotted spoon & drain on a kitchen paper.
Serve hot with Veg / Non Veg curry.
