300g okra (topped, tailed & cut in 1" sticks)
2 garlic cloves(chopped)
A small piece of ginger
1 green chilli(half slit)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup coconut milk
A piece of cinnamon stick
Ssalt to taste
Make ginger + garlic paste & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan & fry cloves, cinnamon stick & few curry leaves.
Then add chopped onions & fry till light brown.
Add chopped okra along with ginger +garlic paste & green chilli.
Add chilli powder, tumeric powder & salt.
Mix well & add some water.
Cover & cook for 5 mn.
When cooked , remove from fire.
Add coconut milk & mix well.
Garnish with fresh curry leaves & cumin powder.
Serve with rice.
