Carrot Halwa
Ingredients
500g carrots (peel & grated )
700 ml milk
180 g sugar
2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp ghee
Raisins & cashews
1/2 tsp cardomom powder (elaichi)
Oil/ ghee for frying raisins & cashews.
Method
Wash , peel & grate garrots.
Gently heat milk , sugar & grated carrots.
When it becomes thick, add condensed milk & mix well .
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
Add cardomom powder & ghee.
Mix well with a wooden spatule.
Pat it onto a greased dish & top with fried raisins & cashews .
Cut into desired shapes & serve your loved ones.
