1 cup freshly grated coconut
A green chilli
A piece of ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds
Few curry leaves
250g lady's finger / Okra
2 onions (chopped)
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard seeds
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Wash & completely dry the okra's.
Cut them into rings.(Even the knife must be dried.)
Coarsely grind first six ingredients & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan & splutter mustard seeds.
Then add chopped onions & fry till light golden brown.
Add chopped okra's along with chilli powder, turmeric power & salt
Fry on a medium flame.
Then add blended coconut with 2 tbsp water.
Cover & cook on low flame for 5mn.
Garnish with curry leaves & serve with rice.
