Half cup freshly grated coconut
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
Berry size tamarind pulp
Half of a bread fruit (peel &chopped)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 onions (chopped)
Salt to taste
Wash, peel & chop bread fruit.
Soak tamarind in water & keep aside for 10 min.Extract the juice.
Marinate them with salt & turmeric powder.
Coarsely grind first four ingredients & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan & fry onion till light golden brown.
Then add marinated bread fruit pieces & fry again.
Add tamarind extract, cover & cook for a while.
When the breadfruit pieces are half cooked, add blended coconut mix.
Mix well & cook ;
When the sauce is reduced, remove from fire.
Garnish with curry leaves & serve with rice or any type of breads.
