canellettes
Ingredients
150g flour (Type 45)
250g sugar
30g butter(melted)
2 eggs + 2 egg yolks
A pinch of salt
500ml milk
10cl rum
1  vanilla pod
Method
 Mix first five ingredients (without any lumps) in a bowl .
Add milk & stir again. 
Half the vanilla pod with a sharp knife & scrape the seeds.
Add to the batter & keep aside for 3 hours.
If the batter is thick, add some more milk.

Heat a nonstick pan / griddle with little oil.
Pour a spoon full of batter & spread it.  (in a circular way)
Cook on both sides.
