Shorshe Bhindi - Bengali Special

Ingredients
250g - okra (Bhindi ,lady's finger)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard paste
Salt to taste

A bay leaf
1/2 tsp kalonji seed (nigella)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
3 big onions sliced
2 green chillies (half slit)

1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp ginger + garlic paste
2 tbsp curd
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Garam masala

Oil for frying
Method
Wash & completely dry the okra's.
Half slit & cut them in sticks.
Mix them with turmeric powder, salt & mustard paste.

Heat oil in a pan & fry cumin & nigella seeds.
Then add sliced onions & fry till translucent.
Add green chilli along with ginger + garlic paste;

Then add marinated okra& cook on medium heat.
When cooked, add curd & mix well.
When the oil seperates , remove from fire.
Garnish with garam masala & coriander leaves.
