5 apples (peel & cut in chunks)
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
A pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease the cake tin & gently heat it.
Add chopped butter & sugar.
When caramalized, remove from from fire & add chopped apples.
Mix with a wooden spatule.
Spread them evenly & sprinkle cinnamon powder over it .
Melt butter in a microwave oven.
Cream together the butter, sugar & salt.
Add beaten egg & mix.
Sieve the flour and baking powder together and fold into the cake mixture.
Then add cinnamon powder & vanilla essence.
Pour the prepared mixture over the apples..
Bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean(35mn).
Remove from fire & set aside to cool (5 mn)
Cover the baking tray with the serving plate & gently turn.
Serve warm with a tea.
