Chicken Picatta - Italian
Chicken Picatta
Ingredients
4 skinless chicken breasts (chopped)
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp Kashmir chilli powder
1 tbsp flour
Salt to taste

Half of a stock cube (chicken)
Juice of half lemon
3 lemon slices
3 shallots(thinly sliced)
2 garlic cloves(chopped)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmir chilli powder
2 tbsp olive oil
Few capers
Freshly ground black pepper
Coriander leaves/ Parsely
Method
Dilute stock cube in a cup of water.
Marinate chicken with salt chilli , turmeric & lime juice.
Keep in the refrigerator for an hour.
Toss the marinated chicken in flour.
Heat oil in a pan & fry thm.
Drain on a kitchen paper & keep aside.

In the same pan, fry garlic & shallots.
Add lime juice & stock.
Cook for a while & then add fried chicken pieces
Cover & cook for while.
When the sauce is reduced , add capers & lemn slices.
Garnish with coriander leaves & freshly ground black pepper.
