Cashew Chicken Curry
Ingredients
1 kg chicken
Salt to taste
*Dry roast *
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kashmir chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp poppy seeds
10 cashew nuts
*Blend*
3 onions (chopped)
3 garlic cloves(chopped)
A piece of ginger(chopped)
2 green chillies(chopped)
1 cup curd
***
A tomato(paste)
* Spices*
A cinnamon stick
2 cardomoms
2 cloves
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves
Garam masala
Method
Dry roast the ingredients & marinate chicken.
Blend all the other ingredints to a fine paste &transfer to a bowl.
In the same mixer, blend tomatoes & keep aside

Heat oil in a casserole & fry spices.
Then add marinated chicken pieces.
Fry for a while & then add blended paste.
Cook for a while & then add blended tomato & some water.
Cover & cook, stirring from time to time. (25mn)
When cooked, remove from fire.
Garnish with coriander leaves & garam masala.
Serve with rice / any type of bread.
