Sarde Fritta - Italian Sardines with Parmesan Crust

 Ingredients
20 sardines (butterflied)
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
* Dipping*
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tbsp corn flour
*Rolling*
2 cups bread crumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp grated parmesan
Zest of a lemon 
Flat parsely(finely chopped)
Method
Marinate sardine filets in first three ingredients & keep aside for an hour.

Beat eggs in a bowl.
Take corn flour in a plate.
Mix all the rolling ingredients in another flat dish.

First roll the marinated sardine filets in corn flour .
Then dip in the beaten egg & roll in bread crumb mix.
Deep fry the sardines in a pan & drain on a kitchen paper.

Preheat the oven to 180°C & bake the filets for 10-15 mn. 
Serve these sardine fritters as a starter.
