Torta Salata Zucchine e Prosciutto - Italian Zucchini Pie
Ingredients
1 frozen shortcut pastry (pâte brisée)
** Topping**
A zucchini sliced
2 red onions (chopped)
A green chilli (cut in coins)
2 cloves of garlic(chopped)
250g ham strips
1/2 tsp chicken masala (optional)
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper
Chopped coriander leaves
Oil for frying

3 eggs (beaten)
200g thick cream
100g grated cheese (parmesan)
Method
Heat olive oil in a pan & fry onions to light golden brown.
Add chopped garlic & chilli along with sliced zucchini.
Fry for a while & then add masala.
Garnish with coriander leaves & black pepper.

Beat eggs in a bowl & add whipped cream
Mix well & then add prepared mushroom.
Then add grated parmesan & mix well.

Pre-heat oven 180°C.
Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured tart tin.
Spread evenly the prepared mushroom sauce over it & fold the edges inwards.
Bake for 25-30 mn .
Slice & serve your loved ones.
