Ranginak - An Iranian sweet

RanginakIngredients 200 g date paste1/2 cup flour4 tbsp cane sugar250 g roasted rice powder (riz étuvé) 100 g  butter1 cup chopped walnuts1 tsp  cinnamon powder1/2 tsp  cardomom powderPistachio for decorationMethod Dry roast flour to light golden brown. Carrot Badam Halwa for Navaratri

Carrot Badam HalwaIngredients2 carrots(finely chopped)2 cups almond powder11/2 cup sugar70 g butter / ghee2 glasses of milk1/2 tsp cardomom / nutmeg powderMethodUse a chopper to chop carrots.Melt ghee &  fry them till translucent.Add a cup of milk, cover & cook it.Then add sugar & almond powder. Add  another cup of milk .Stir continuously over medium heat.When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
