Idiyappam / Noolputtu (Kerala speciality)Ingredients200 g rice powder250 ml water ( I took 125 coconut milk + 125 water)30 g butterShredded coconutsalt to taste. Method Boil water. Kannan Pathiri Ingredients 500 g flour 250 ml water 1 tsp salt oil for frying Method Mix first three ingredients & knead well. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth & keep aside for an hour. Indian Fruits SaladCut all the fruits.(canteloupe, banana, apples, cherries, apricots)Press one orange & add to the fruits Mix all the fruits in a salad bowl. Cover & chill. To make custurdDilute 30g of custurd powder in cup of milk(without any lumps).Boil 1/2 l milk. Add 50g sugar. Then add the prepared custurd powder. Stir continously. Cool & refrigerate it. Pour the chilled custurd on the the fruits, toss & serve.Decorate with cherries.

Pancake with thousand holes Ingredients250 g Semolina 250ml milk1 egg30 g Fresh Yeast 1 glass of water 1/2 tsp saltMethod Heat milk & water until just warm . Don't boil . Dilute yeast in it.Add egg, semolina & salt . Mix well & keep aside for 4 hours.In a nonstick pan make the pancakes. Wait until the whole pancake is covered with holes.Cook the other side.Serve with honey / maple syrup / sweetened coconut milk .
