Singapore Chilli Prawns

Chilli Prawns  Ingredients 2 tsp soya sauce 2 tbsp ketchup 1 tsp chilli sauce  1 tbsp rice vinegar ** 1 tbsp cornflour Half cup water***500g  tiger prawns ( fresh/frozen) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp salt ****  An onion (chopped)  2 garlic cloves (chopped) A piece of ginger (chopped) A green chilli (half slit)2 carrots(Julienned)A scallion (chopped) Curry leaves / Coriander leaves Oil for frying   Method Mix first four ingredients & keep aside. Channa Dal Burfi

Channa Dal BurfiIngredients100g channa dal ( Bengal gram) 100g sweetened condensed milk400ml milk1/2 cup dessicated coconut2 tbsp sugar1/2 cup ghee1/2 tsp cardomom powder (elaichi)Almonds & Pistachios.MethodSoak the channa dal in water & keep aside for 3 hrs.Strain off the water & cook the dal in 2 cups of milk.When soft , remove from fire &  keep aside to cool.Coarsely grind the cooked dal.Melt ghee & fry daal paste to  light golden brown.Add the  remaining milk & mix well.Then... Spicy Surimi Cake

Spicy Surimi CakeIngredients125 g yogurt 175 g flour 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp baking powder 4 eggs 1 tsp salt 180g finely shredded surimi (miettes de surimi) 2 shallots (finely chopped) A piece of ginger (finely chopped) 1 red chilli (finely chopped) Curry leaves (finely chopped) 1 tsp cumin seeds Chopped walnuts / almonds Method In a bowl beat eggs.
