Spicy Rieska - Finnish Potato Bread

Rieska Ingredients4 potatoes (mashed)100g whole wheat flour2 tbsp oatsAn egg 40g melted butter    Salt to taste***1 green chilli (chopped)2 shallots (chopped)Chopped curry leaves1 tsp cumin seds MethodBoil the quartered potatoes in salted water until tender (20 mn).Drain & let it cool. Peel , mash it & keep aside. Mix all the ingredients with the wooden spoon. Cover the bowl with a cloth & leave faside for an hour.  Make 6 orange sized dough balls. Preheat oven to 200°C .... Turnera ulmifolia / Jamaican butter cup/Yellow AlderTurnera ulmifolia  / Butter cup/ White Alder  Two easily grown plants in my Mom's garden. These perennial herbs are propagated by seeds or stem cuttings..Grows on well drained soil & sun. Flowers open at sunrise & fold at dusk. They attracts butterflies & bees.

Erasmus Bridge, Rotterdam

Erasmus Bridge This swan shaped suspension bridge is built over the River Maas to connect the Northern & Southern parts of Rotterdam. The bridge was designed by the Dutch architect Ben Van Berkal & was inaugurated on Sep 4th 1996 by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. This 800m long bridge is supported by 139 m steel pylon & 40 cables. On the top there are two sidewalks, two cycle tracks, a tram rail & two roads for vehicles. Carrot Lentil CurryIngredients 2 tbsp freshly grated coconut1 tsp cumin seeds2 shallots + few curry leaves***4 carrots(chopped)200g horse gram(cooked) An onion(chopped) 2 cloves of garlic(chopped)1 tsp mustard seeds 1 dried chilli 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder Curry leaves Salt to taste Method Wash & cook lentils. AranitasIngredientsA green plantain3 cloves of garlic(chopped)An onion(chopped)A green chilli(chopped)1/2 tsp red chilli powder1 tsp cumin seedsSalt to tasteCurry leaves / coriander leaves (chopped)An egg(optional)Oil for fryingMethodPeel & grate the plantain using a medium hole grater;Mix all the other ingredients & & keep aside for some time.Heat oil in a  frying pan.Pour 1 tbsp full of the batter.
