Daikon Radish ParathaIngredientsHalf of a daikon radish( white radish)2 tbsp scraped fresh coconut / dessicated coconut2 green chillies2 shallots curry leaves1 tsp fennel seeds250 g flour250g whole wheat flour1 tbsp oil1 tsp saltOil for fryingMethodBlend first six ingredients in a mixer & add to the flour.Mix all the other ingredients & keep aside for 2/3 hours.Daikon radish contains water - so no need to add water.Make evenly sized balls. PiadinaIngredients 250g whole wheat flour250g  flour 100 ml water + 100ml milk2 tbsp olive oilAn egg 1 tsp salt1/2 tsp baking powder Olive oil Method Mix water & milk & slighly warm it.Mix first seven ingredients & knead well. Turkish Pide Bread

Pide Bread Ingredients500g flour2 tbsp yogurt 1 tsp salt20g fresh yeast or (2 tsp dried yeast )2 tbsp olive oilA pinch of turmeric30cl luke warm water. 1 tsp sugarAn egg1 tbsp sesame seedsMethodDilute yeast in luke warm water with 1 tsp sugar . Rice Rotti / Kai Pathiri - Malabar Muslim Special

Rice Rotti   Ingredients2 cups roasted rice powder 3 cups of water1 tsp fennel seeds1 tsp salt1 cup dessicated coconut / freshly grated coconut3 shallotsMethod Coarsely grind coconut, shallots & fennel seeds in a mini food processor.  Boil water .
