Batura Ingredients200g flour ( 2 glasses)125g yogurt10 g fresh yeast1/2 glass luke warm water1/2 tsp saltOil for fryingMethodDilute yeast in luke warm water with 1 tsp sugar . Set aside for 15 minuites.Mix all the ingredients & knead well.Cover the bowl with a damp cloth & keep aside for 1 hour.Take a lemon sized ball & flatten it into thick disc. Irish Boxty PancakesIngredients3 medium size potatoes3 tbsp flour1 egg beaten1/2 glass milkSalt to tasteMethodPeel, grate & squeeze potatoes.Mix all the other ingredients & make a thick batter.If the batter is very thick add some more milk.Grease a nonstick pan with butter.Drop a spoonfull of batter.(Don't spread)Cook either sides until light golden brown.Serve with sugar & melted butter / blackcurrant jam.
