Wheat payasam Ingredients1 cup polished wheat ( Ebly)2 cups water2 cloves5 cubes of Jagerry1/2 tin condensed milk(200g)1 cup milkA pinch of salt1/4 tsp cardomom powderRaisins & CashewsMethodGently heat jaggery & water to make a thick syrup.Strain it & keep aside. Cook wheat in 2 cups of water with cloves.Add condensed milk & jagerry syrup.Add a pinch of salt,cardomom powder & stir well.Decorate with fried raisins & cashews.

Chocolate Chestnut Fondant Ingredients250 g chestnut purée75g dark chocolate50 g butter2 eggs75g sugar1 tsp vanilla essenceMethodPreheat oven to 150°C (Ther-5).Melt chocolate & add butter.Add chestnut purée & mix well.Then add beaten eggs & essence.Mix until smooth & pour it into greased ramekins.Bake for 35 min.Remove from the oven & set aside to cool.Before serving keep it in the refrigerator.Decorate with candied chestnut & serve with custurd.

Pappadam & Pazham ( Choyyi's pudding) Pappadam's are made of urud dal. U can get it from Indian Grocery shop.Deep fry pappadams in hot oil & drain it in a kitchen paper. Crush the crispy pappadoms ito small bits (with hands) & keep aside.Mash bananes & sprinkle pappadam bits over it.Add 2 tsp ghee & some sugar. Enjoy ! A simple kerala desert appreciated by young & old. In malabar area it's called "Choyyi's pudding ".
