Mango Sandesh - Bengali Sweet for Navaratri

 Mango Sandesh   Ingredients200 g Ricotta cheese4 tbsp milk powder1/4 cup waterA pinch of saffron6 tbsp sugarA ripe mango (cut in cubes) 1/2  tsp cardomom powder (elaichi)1 tbsp geePistachiosMethodMix milk powder & saffron in water.  Wash, peel, cut mago in cubes.Blend it to fine paste along with sugar. Doce de Grao/ Chonya doce - Goan Sweet

Chonya doce Ingredients200g yellow split dal / channa dal (kadala parippu)400 g sugar1 cup freshly grated coconut A pinch of salt 1/2 tsp cardomom powder1 tbsp ghee  Ghee Method Soak dal in water for three hours.Drain it & pressure cook it with sufficient amount of water.Blend the cooked dal to a fine paste.Then blend the grated coconut to a fine paste.
