Green Amaranth ( Amaranthus viridis/ Amaranthus gracilis) Wild amaranth is seen in waste ground & road sides of Kerala. So it's commonly called Kuppa-cheera ( weed of the waste land).The leaves, stem & root of this plant is used in Ayurveda.
