Beetroot Parippu VadaIngredients2 cups yellow split dal (kadala parippu)A small beet(chopped)3 shallots (chopped)An onion (chopped)2 green chillies (chopped)2 tsp chopped ginger2 pinches of Asafoetida Powder (Hing)2 springs of curry leaves / coriander leaves ( chopped)Salt to tasteOil for fryingMethodWash, peel & blend beetroot in a chopper.Soak dal in water for five hours.Drain it & leave aside to dry.Keep a spoonfull of dal aside.Coarsely grind  dal with chillies & ginger in a blender.Then add...
