Carrot Halwa
Ingredients
4 medium sized carrots
115 g sugar
1/2 l milk
1/2 tsp cardomom powder
50 g butter
Rasins & Almonds
Method
Blend carrots in food processor.Don't make a paste.
Boil milk in a sauce pan. Add chopped carrots.
Stir occasionely.
When cooked add butter & sugar.
Stir gently in low fire.
When the mixture thickens add cardomom powder ,rasins & cashews.
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
Pat it into a greased dish & cool.
Cut into small squares & serve.
