Malai Ladoo for Diwali
Malai Ladoo
Ingredients
500 g Ricotta cheese
400g sweetened condensed milk (1can)
A pinch of saffron
5 cardomom pods
3 tbsp sugar
Chopped Pistachios
Method
Blend cardomom with sugar & keep aside.
Take ricotta cheese in a heavy bottomed vessel.
Add condensed milk & mix with a wooden spatule.
Stir continuously over medium heat.
Add cardomom & saffron & mix well.
When the mixture leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire .
Set aside to cool & then shape into ladoos.
