Pineapple Cherupayar parippu Pradaman - Kerala Special

Pineapple Parippu Payasam

Ingredients
1 cup splitted green gram (cherupayar parippu)
2 cups water
2 cloves

1 small pineapple(chopped)
5 cubes of Jagerry
1/2 tin condensed milk(200g)
1 cup coconut milk
A pinch of salt
1/4 tsp cardomom powder
Raisins & Cashews
Method
Dry roast splitted green gram & pressure cook (3 mn)  along with cloves.
Gently heat jaggery & water to make a thick syrup.
Strain it & keep aside.
Heat a sauce pan with chopped pineapple & jagerry syrup.
When pineapple is cooked, add cooked green gram  along with condensed milk.
Stir for a while & then add coconut milk.
Add a pinch of salt,cardomom powder & stir well.
Decorate with fried raisins & cashews.
