Goreng Pisang - Malaysian Banana Fritters
Goreng Pisang
Ingredients
2 medium ripe plantains
Oil for frying
*Batter*
1 cup self-raising flour
Half cup corn flour
2 tbsp rice flour
50g sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
120 ml cold water
A pinch of salt
A pinch of cardamom powder(optional)
Method
In a bowl , mix all the dry ingredients.
Add water get a semi thick batter (without any lumps).
Keep aside for half an hour.

Peel, half & slice the bananas lengthwise.
Add all the babana slices in the batter & keep aside for 5mn.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Deep fry the the banana slices until golden brown.
Serve this snack with a cup of tea.
