Lahmacun - Turkish Pizza
Lahmacun
Ingredients
*Base*
450g flour
2 tbsp olive oil
15g fresh yeast or (2 tsp dried yeast)
150 ml luke warm water
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
**Meat Layer**
250g hamburger meat
2 big onions (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic(chopped)
A piece of ginger (chopped)
Half of red bell pepper(choped)
Half of green bell pepper (chopped)
1 tsp coriander powder
1tsp red chillipowder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp organic tomato puree
Salt to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Ground black pepper
Coiander leaves
Few mint leaves
Oil for frying
Method
Dilute yeast in luke warm water with 1 tsp sugar. Set aside for 15 minuites.
Mix all the ingredients of the base in a bowl.
Cover the bowl with a cloth & leave for 1or 2 hours, until it's doubled.

Heat olive oil in a pan & fry onions to light golden brown.
Add chopped garlic & ginger.
Fry for a while & then add chopped bell pepper.
Then add coriander powder, turmeic powder & chilli powder.
Mix well & then add minced meat along with tomato sauce.
Add some water & cook for 10 min.
When the sauce leaves the sides of the pan, remove from fire;
Garnish with coriander leaves & keep aside.

Spray some more flour & knead it again.
Make evenly sized balls.
Take a lemon sized ball & roll out into thin rotti.
Heat a pan on medium heat & cook the roll out rotti.
Smear some oil, flip & cook the other side.
Spread uniformly the prepared meat.
Cover & cook for a while.
Transfer to the serving plate.
Continue the same with other dough balls.
