Pesarattu - Green Gram Pancake
Pesarattu
Ingredients
1 cup green gram
2 tbsp basmati rice
2 shallots (chopped)
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 green chillies
A small piece of ginger
Chopped coriander leaves

Salt to taste
Water
Oil for frying
Method
Wash & soak green gram & rice grains in a bowl. (8h /overnight)
Then blend to a fine paste with other ingredients.
Add water to the batter to get a semi liquid stage.
Add salt & mix wll.

Heat a nonstick pan / griddle with little oil.
Pour a spoon full of batter & spread carefully.
Dribble some oil over the dosa.
Flip & cook the other side.
Serve hot with chutney / curry.
