Halloween Meat Pie

Halloween Meat Pie

Ingredients
2 frozen puff pastries
An egg yolk
2 cherry tomatoes
*Meat filling*
A carrot
A leek
A small piece of ginger
2 garlic cloves
1 green chilli (chopped)
2 tbsp oil
250g minced meat / 4 steaks
2 onions (chopped)
1 tomato (chopped) / 1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Chopped coriander leaves
Garam masala
Salt to taste
Method
Blend carrot,ginger, garlic & chilli in a chopper & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add chopped onions & fry until translucent.
Add chopped vegtables & fry again.
Add minced meat & the curry powder's.
Add tomatoes & 1/2 glass of water.
Cook for 8 minuites.
Remove from fire .
Garnish with coriander leaves & garam masala.
 Keep aside.

Spread one of the puff pastry on a pie baking tray & prick with a fork 
Spread uniformly the prepared beef.
Fold the edges.
Cut the design on the second pastry .
Place it on top & press the edges.
Leave in the refigerator for 20min.
Using a knife, draw a pattern on the both sides of the mouth.
Then beat an egg yolk with 1 tbsp water & brush it on the the top of the pie. 
Bake for 30min, 180° C (Ther - 6) Serve warm / cold with apple cider.
