Chiacchiere al Mascarpone - Italian Carnival Fritters
Ingredients
140 g flour
120g mascarpone cheese
Zest of two lemons
1 tbsp sugar
50g butter
1 tbsp Lemoncello (optional)
Oil for frying
Icing sugar for decoration
Method
Mix mascarpone cheese with sugar, zest & lemoncello.
Then add flour to get a stiff dough.
Close the bowl & keep aside for 15mn.
Take the dough ball & roll out into thin disc.
Using a pasta cutter wheel, cut into (5cm*2cm strips) & then cut each in the middle.

Deep fry diamond cuts till it turns golden brown.
Remove using a slotted spoon & drain on a kitchen paper.
Dust icing sugar & serve your loved ones.
Store them in an airtight container.
